Seven Days Of Prayer

  • Begin your prayer with The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

    “‘Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name,
    your kingdom come,
    your will be done,
        on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us today our daily bread.
    And forgive us our debts,
        as we also have forgiven our debtors.
    And lead us not into temptation,
        but deliver us from the evil one.’

  • Take a moment to pray:

    1. Express gratitude to God for His willingness to present among us

    2. Ask for God’s presence to be obvious and undeniable at HSC

    3. Ask for people to have a moving experience of God that changes them

    4. Be honest with God about your hunger to experience Him

    Pray these words:

    “I pray that out of your glorious riches you may strengthen us with power through your Spirit in our inner beings,so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. And I pray that I, being rooted and established in love,may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19)

    “Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down!” (Isaiah 64:1)

    “One thing we ask from you Lord, this only do we seek: that we may dwell in your house all the days of our lives, to gaze on your beauty and to seek you in your temple.” (Psalm 27:4)

    1. Ask God to heal those who are suffering from physical pain or disease at conference

    2. Ask God to bless and encourage those who doubt they can experience His power

    3. Ask God to give others the spiritual gift of healing

    4. Ask God to produce radical healing testimonies out of our church

    Pray these words:

    “Sovereign Lord, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?” (Deuteronomy 3:24)

    “You are the Lord, who heals us.” (Exodus 15:26)

    “Summon your power, God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before.” (Psalm 68:28)

    “Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” Acts 4:30

    2. Ask God to heal people’s minds of depression, despair, & hopelessness

    3. Ask God to give people freedom from sinful habits and desires

    4. Ask God to lead people into the truth and out of broken mindsets/self-hatred

    5. Ask God to rescue people from demonic oppression

    Pray these words:

    “Jesus, it is for freedom that you have set us free. Help us to stand firm, then, and not let ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

    “Help us to throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles us. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

    “Lead out the prisoners with singing!” (Psalm 68:6)

    2. Ask God to speak clearly and powerfully to anyone praying/ministering at conference

    3. Ask God to speak to those who feel unseen or are wandering away from Him

    4. Ask God to let us experience powerful times of worship

    5. Pray for all those who will be leading from platform in any capacity preachers, musicians, worship leaders, prophetic ministry)

    Pray these words:

    “Let all the secrets of our hearts be laid bare, so that we fall down and worship God, exclaiming, ‘God is really among us!’” (1 Corinthians 14:25)

    4. Ask God to give people burdens for specific areas of need in our city

    5. Ask God to give us the faith we need to trust Him wholeheartedly

    “Create in us pure hearts, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us.” (Psalm 51:10)

    “Help us to make every effort to live at peace with everyone and to be holy.” (Hebrews 12:14)

    “Enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.” Acts 4:29
